As my mother Brenda would say: “In the name of God and all of his lovely Saints and Angels…”
OHMYGOD!
Sometimes children can be so very naughty, I pray that my darling Max never ever lets us down in this way. Obviously it would be a far larger illustration on the roof of our capacious home (sigh), but the boy could have at least ensured that the window boxes and borders were appropriately stocked. Why, even the gravel on her drive appears to be minimal – the shame!
Now that Google Streetview has arrived in the UK, I must ensure that I get our housekeeper up the ladder to scour out the gutters.

I have often wondered why self- assured men are so very attractive (sigh). I myself am physically perfect (runs meticulously manicured hand through glossy locks), but have been drawn to less than stunning male specimens in the past… Are women simply drawn by self confident, powerful pack leaders?
I heard this tale about girl was out with friends having drinks on King St (in Toronto) and I felt compelled to share it with you. Olga was approached by a confident young man who would not leave her alone – saying how cute she was. She finally relented and gave the gentleman her business card. The attached is an MP3 file of not one, but TWO voicemails this chap left her. This is a classic.
Clearly, self confidence is simply not enough. I love my man and thank God I am not single.
Can I offer anyone a drink?
