Name of product: G-Force animated film by Disney, Combination Pack with Blu-ray and DVD

Price: £23.99

The blurb: Buckle up for thrilling edge of your seat action and laugh out loud fun in Disney’s G-Force. On Disney Blu-ray, this family comedy adventure is even more spectacular with theatre-quality picture and sound.

Just as the G-Force – an elite team of highly trained guinea pigs – is about to save the world, the FBI shuts the secret unit down. But these next-generation action heroes – Darwin, loyal team leader; Blaster, weapons expert with attitude to spare; Juarez, drop dead gorgeous martial arts diva; and tag-along Hurley – won’t be stopped. Armed with the latest in high-tech spy equipment, and with the F.B.I. on their tails, the fur flies as they race against the clock to save. From the producer of the Pirates of The Caribbean trilogy and National Treasure, and filled with high-octance action, daredevil stunts, cutting-edge special effects and outrageous comedy, G-Force is fantastic fun for the whole family – especially in Blu-ray High Definition.

First impressions: Another blockbuster type children’s animation from Disney.

Ease of Use: These combi packs are ideal for our family as they can watch the Blu-ray film at home and the DVD in the car. They adore watching these DVDs over and over again.

Pros: The children saw this film first in the cinema and when it came out on Blu-ray and DVD, they had me pestered for a week to buy them a copy. It is a firm favourite, just like Shrek.

Cons: I could almost recite the entire script…

Value for money: Excellent value for money, reliable great quality animation and story. This is a film that the whole family will enjoy.

My darling poppets have been feeding our pooch at the table (gasp)! I cannot allow this to continue. Christmas is coming, and our puppy is on course to become quite the fatty puff! My warnings fell on deaf ears until I found this Youtube clip which perfectly illustrates my point:

Don’t overfeed your dog, it really is incredibly unkind. The morsels that sweet munckins share with their pet are far better researved for feeding up the au pair…

That girl is far too slim for my tastes.
