First impressions: I adore the entire range of highly effective Nude skincare, the packaging is reassuringly upmarket with its’ trendy neutral hue, it is even pleasant to the touch! Yet the capsules are actually rather large and intimidating, and do not smell entirely pleasant. No-one said that detox was meant to be easy…

Ease of Use: The pack advises that over the course of 10 days, one takes 2 capsules morning and night on an empty stomach with a glass of water. They are not particularly easy to swallow, and I must admit that I struggled to complete the course.

Pros: This process is far more dignified than a colonic, no-one touches my bottom, not ever – I had 2 planned Caesareans for Gods sake… A detox is an essential start to a healthy new regime, if one intends to purge oneself and make an entirely fresh start. The capsules as a start to each day, serve to remind me to stick to the rest of my resolutions (no alcohol and a healthy breakfast), so I am not sure if my dewy glowing skin and increased energy levels are solely attributable to the detox. The capsules certainly serve as a reminder to me that I am making a healthy new start!

Cons: I was finding it very difficult to motivate myself to complete the course, until friends and work colleagues began to comment on my skin!

Value for money: 4/5 (there are two complete courses in the pack) These capsules served as a reminder to me that I was making a fresh start, and so, they set the tone for the day and ensured that I was reminded to stick to the rest of my regime. I certainly feel invigorated and my skin is glowing.
