The blurb: “Wears for 12 hours. Sets in seconds. To soften line, blend before it sets. Opthalmologist-tested. Fragrance free.” Available in 7 shades; Midnight Blue, Coffee, Black Plum, Forest, Onyx, Bronze and Graphite.

First impressions: Elegant presentation, as one would expect from this premium brand. The pencil itself is substantial and well designed, with two gold lids and a sponge wand for smudging at one end. I love the idea of this product, as a busy working mother, I have so little time to spend touching up my make-up throughout the day (wipes tear from eye).

Ease of Use: This pencil glides on easily and applies good depth of colour. It smudges effortlessly with the special applicator and sets in seconds. It remains in place all day long!

Pros: I can’t believe that I have not discovered this pencil sooner. I often require my eye make-up to remain in place from 7 am until late into the evening (sob), and over the years, I have tried dozens of different products including make-up primers in an effort to ensure that make-up remains flawless. This long lasting eyeliner has genuine staying power. The blue is a deep navy hue, a really perfect and unusual shade. My eyes have been running as I have a cold yet this pencil still managed to last well.

Cons: The pencil required touching up at lunch time, but as I said, I have had a cold, and it required less attention than any other product I have used.

Value for money: I always purchase premium brand skincare and make-up (naturellement), and I consider this pencil to be terrific value as it will not end up relegated to the bottom of my make-up bag.

This brand speaks to me! Nude is a range of advanced probiotic skincare working intelligently with the skin to activate cellular renewal and slow the ageing process, using clinically proven probiotic technology to achieve visible results.

The products contain Pre and probiotics (from natural sugars and milk): activate cellular renewal and repair and protect the skin. Peptides (from milk): stimulate collagen production to firm skin and reduce wrinkles.Hyaluronic Acid (from milk): locks water into the skin to hydrate and smooth fine lines.Antioxidants (from natural plant sources): eliminate free radicals to protect the skin against ageing.

I have been testing the entire range and it is all gentle but effective.

First impressions: The presentation of this range of products is impressive. The warm taupe signature colour is on trend and upmarket, and the shape and texture of this bottle is tactile and organic. The mask itself is a dark brown gel with a neutral smell.

Ease of Use: Simply apply a thin layer to a clean face and throat, avoiding eyes. The skin may tingle a little as the treatment works. After 5 minutes, wash thoroughly with water. Use twice weekly. It genuinely could not be simpler to integrate this mask into your beauty routine.

Pros: This product is dramatically good and I will not be without it now. It makes my skin glow, instantly appearing smoother and healthier. I received this entire range a few months back and I am completely impressed by this “hero” product in particular.

Cons: I can’t think of any.

Value for money: Very good value for money, this product actually works! I refuse to waste space, time or money on products that don’t live up to their claims. This is a must have.
