Name of product: Bremenn Research Labs. 6 in 1 Skin cream for the face
Price: £42 for 3.8 mls
The blurb: Bremenn Labs claim this product is a wrinkle cream, a firming cream, a smoothing cream, a toning cream, a brightening cream and a moisturizing cream!
“The absolute best, all-in-one anti-ageing cream you have ever tried. Bremenn’s 6 in 1 skin cream not only reduces the appearance of existing fine lines, wrinkles and crows’ feet, but helps maintain the elasticity, tone, moisture level, smoothness, and health of facial skin. The absolute best, all in one cream you have ever tried…Period!
The formula contains numerous key functional ingredients designed to improve skin hydration and reduce the appearance of ‘flakes’. Provides visible, dramatic effects by reducing the appearance of existing fine lines and wrinkles. Significantly improves the look of skin density, firmness and tone. Improves the facial profile including the “lifted” look of the jaw line, the “triangle” surface of the jaw, and the curvature o the jaw line. Increases the appearance of skin turnover and smoothness. Gives a feeling of skin comfort when applied. Brightens the appearance of the skin. Improves the appearance of skin clarity and luminosity. Visibly diminishes the look of the surface area and color of age spot”
Ohmygod! Can one product actually do all that? This cream is far better at multi tasking than I’ll ever be. Or will it actually transpire to be a ”Jack of all trades but master at none”?
I assume that the box is so enormous in comparison to the actual size of the product because the list of ingredients is so very long indeed!
The Key Ingredients as listed on the box:
Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betaine, Glyceryl Stearate, Hordeum Distichon (Barley) Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Behenyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Isododecane, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Squalane, Phytosteryl Isostearate, Nylon-12, Dimethicone, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Extract, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Glucosamine HCl, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Palmaria Palmata Extract, Algae Extract, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Niacinamide, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium Adenosine Triphosphate, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Urea, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, Limonene, Tetrasodium EDTA, Polysorbate 20, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Erythritol, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetearyl Methicone, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Sorbitan Laurate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, Carbomer, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Panthenyl Triacetate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Homarine HCl, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Fragrance (Parfum)
Now try pronouncing all that after a glass of Chablis! What a mouthful!
First impressions: A large box for such a little tube of face cream! This is marketed as a wonder come miracle cream for the face. After reading all the astonishing claims, it made me wonder why anyone would ever even contemplate face-lifts, fillers and Botox. Now to the bathroom mirror to watch 10 years drop off my face! Or will it?
Ease of Use: Begin with a clean, dry skin, applying twice daily. They advise that one uses sparingly as this cream is a concentrated formula. Gently massage the skin cream into the skin, using a circular motion until completely absorbed
Pros: The product made 6 promises, I would certainly agree that it delivered 3. It smoothed, brightened and moisturized but I did not really notice any great change in the wrinkle, firming or toning department. It is a great little moisturizing cream, not greasy, absorbed easily and did not cause any breakouts. As a result my skin looked brighter and felt really soft, and hydrated. The cream has a nice little pump in the lid and it required a couple of turns to get it working. It is unscented and was light enough to apply makeup ontop soon after application, but it does not contain SPF. Top marks for smoothing, brightening and moisturizing my skin!
Cons: I must admit I was very excited about trying this product as I have reviewed several of Bremenn Labs products and they are all terrific. This 6 in 1 product unfortunately did not live up to its 6 claims (made 3 in my case) as much as I had hoped but nevertheless it did make my skin look younger and brighter.
Value for money:. It is good value for money as it really is a terrific face cream

I am only giving it 3 out of 5 however as it made such far-fetched claims and did not deliver on half of them, also, I feel that it could have contained a sun screen
