Name of product: Advanced Night Repair Concentrate
Price: £67 for 30 mls
The blurb: “This intensive boosting serum frees your skin from the visible accumulation of excessive damage. It helps dramatically boost skin’s natural ability to repair the visible effects of this accumulation, helping to “clean the slate” of past damage
Advanced Night Repair Concentrate is formulated with 5 times the concentration of the patented recovery complex found in the Advanced Night Repair serum you use every night. It immediately begins to relieve and calm the look of redness, helps skin to naturally inhibit the irritation that can lead to more serious visible damage. It is amplified with the potent anti-irritant Amentoflavone
This product quickly helps rebuild a weakened moisture barrier to keep more environmental irritants out, more moisture in. It includes a highly concentrated blend of proven, skin-strengthening lipids, including Linoleic Acid, Cholesterol and Wheat Bran. Consider tonight the beginning of a beautiful new life for your skin”
First impressions: As usual, Estee Lauder products never disappoint with regard to their presentation. ANR Concentrate comes in a luxurious glass bottle with a metallic opaque bronze sheen. It has a dropper dispenser in the lid and the concentrate itself takes the form of a creamy lotion that is quickly absorbed into the skin leaving no residue at all. It takes pride of place in my en-suite bathroom (sigh). I have to say, when I received this product, I really could not see the need for it…
Ease of Use: Advanced Night Repair Concentrate should be used PM only as an intensive “booster treatment” in addition to your regular skincare regimen, every 3-4 months. Apply two droppers all over cleansed face and throat each night for 21 days and follow with your usual night time moisturiser. It is also recommended to use ANR Concentrate after excess sun or environmental exposure – as required. For “Pre- and Post-Procedure” for cosmetic procedures such as micro-dermabrasion and chemical peels, it is recommended to use for 21 days: 1 week prior to your procedure and 2 weeks after
Pros: I applied this every night while I was on holiday in Portugal recently and continued to use it for the full 21 days when I returned. My skin is always fabulous (naturellement) but OHMYGOD! ths product genuinely produced a vast improvement to the softness and tone of my skin. ANR concentrate is a stunningly effective booster! Some of my chums actually asked if I had undergone a procedure while I was on holiday how incredibly rude (smirk)
Cons: There are none at all, no really
Value for money:. This product is not cheap – but it is such a terrific product and the results are so very super fabulous, it is worth every penny and more (stomps foot)!
