First impressions: The packaging is exquisite – a large brown expensive looking box (prrr), with gold and white lettering announces what it is and who it from. Inside, I’m not to be disappointed – no, not some tiny little jar lost in tons of packaging, but a large circular pot of pure indulgence. Once opened you can smell the wonderful aroma of its key ingredients – one sniff of this product and you will be hooked on the luxurious, calming world of Aromatherapy Associates

The product is actually less of a butter and more of smooth, emulsifying cream. I find usual body butters, like Cocoa butter, a little too greasy and if applied last thing at night, I feel sticky!

Ease of Use: ‘Use as required to protect and moisturise skin. For optimum results, first exfoliate and smooth skin using enrich body scrub, then layer with enrich body serum to hydrate, followed by body butter. For areas of extreme dryness, apply enrich massage & body oil before using body butter

Sensible cautions: keep out of reach of children. Store away from light and heat. Once opened best used within 6 months’. This product was easy to apply and readily absorbed

Pros: I simply adore this product! I love the fact that is made with natural oils and it smells divine! It’s not at all greasy and simply melts into the skin! The fragrance is celestial and I do enjoy using it before bed as I do think it helps me to calmly unwind from the day’s events and gently drift off to sleep! The softness appears to last well, and if I don’t use it for a couple of days my skin still feels super soft and healthy. Another big plus is that it also feels like I’ve just been to the spa and had a wonderful massage, but in my own home and one last thing, it’s not a skimpy little pot but a well worth it 150ml of wonder!

So as they say on the web site – “dedicated to transforming dull, dry, out-of condition skin, leaving it irresistible to touch,” I can certainly agree, but be careful if your family is complete (dabs tear from eye)

Just one little last point, they also add;

“IN OUR BATH, BODY AND SKINCARE, WE DO NOT USE:
Mineral or sulphonated oils which can block the performance of the essential oils
GM ingredients
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS)
Petrolatum
Propylene Glycol
Synthetic colours or fragrance
Parabens

Ingredients that have been tested on animals – and we don’t test our finished products on animals. Animal derivatives, except for silk and beeswax, which are animal by-products”

Which is a great BIG plus as far as I am concerned? Well-done Aromatherapy Associates for such a great product yet again

Cons: None. I would say however that I didn’t use every night after a bath or shower but used it when I felt like I need a little bit of self-indulgent ME time

Value for money: Excellent value for money, every bit as indulgent as a massage, far cheaper and it lasts much longer!

Dulwichmum verdict: ★★★★★
