The blurb: “As the nights draw in, it is time to start wrapping up little ones from the cold. Luxury children swear label Bonnie Baby have some beautiful knitwear from their Autumn Winter 2010/11 collection to keep babies cosy and looking stylish.
The collection is called Bonnie Bloomsbury, inspired by the Bloomsbury group of artists and writers, and the muted soft dusky colours of Charleston, their Sussex home. Bloomsbury is a big fashion trend this Autumn/Winter – “Bloomsbury style is 2010’s must have look” according to Elle Magazine
It is the little touches and attention to detail that really characterise Bonnie Bloomsbury. Hand-knitted vintage-style bows on dresses, little knitted buttons – all given a contemporary twist with a Bonnie Baby signature flash of bright colour. The collection comes in colours of Tea Rose and berry, Soft Denim and Delph Blue, Putty and Mushroom, all knitted in Bonnie Baby’s Snuggle Me blended 10% cashmere/90% cotton – luxuriously soft and machine washable”
First impressions: I adore the packaging from this line of luxurious baby wear, tissue; pretty gift tags and a perfect little box. The baby wear is luxuriously soft, colours rich and warm, and the attention to detail is genuinely refreshing.
Ease of Use: I love it that these perfect little garments are so fashion forward and still luxuriously soft, easy to slip on and off for nappy changes and yet so practical – they are machine washable! How do they do that and when are they going to produce matching mummy wear (stomps foot)?
Pros: You will be spoiled for choice if you are in search of an heirloom quality newborn gift, christening gift or simply a show stopper outfit outfit for a babe. I am gaining quite the reputation at the office and school gate for always knowing exactly what to give – clearly!
Cons: I can’t deny that this range makes me broody. Why wasn’t it around when my tinies were teeny?
Value for money:. 5/5
