My housekeeper, Albina, has been with me for so long. She is so essential to the smooth running of my home and the happiness of my family (dabs tear from eye). I think of her less and less as a lowly paid, psychotic, 68 year old Bulgarian, and more as a member of my family – a very distant relative who joined us by marriage and is capable of causing great embarrassment – clearly!

Albina recently made a friend at her book group, and this friend, Patricia, claims to be a stylist (bless!) – I actually worry that she is a bad influence on Albina. Anyhow, it seems that while I was away avec poppets last week, reviewing Switzerland, Albina and her chum engaged in role play in my dressing room…

If you ask me, more than one bottle of Blue Nun was involved.

What say you chums? Should I fire Albina?
