Name of product: Clarifying Water by Nude
Price: £12 for 100 mls
The blurb: “Nude has pioneered the use of pre and probiotics in anti-ageing skincare products.
Products in the range are all natural, using the philosophy that what goes onto our bodies goes into our bodies and with that in mind they have developed a series of luxurious yet natural products to combat the ageing process
The Nude range supports sustainability, showing environmental responsibility, using recycled packaging and sourcing ingredients based on their ethical standards. This makes their products luxury you really can feel good about.
Nude Skincare’s perfectly balanced Clarifying Water reveals a brighter, refreshed complexion. Orange and Vanilla floral water, BHA’s, Siberian Ginseng and Irish Moss smooth and refine enlarged pores and congested skin. Now with an even smaller carbon footprint, this beautiful Clarifying Water is one of the most responsibly packaged beauty products on the market – with an entirely recyclable plastic bottle using 100% Post Consumer Regrind (PCR)”
First impressions: As always, I am impressed by the simplicity of the Nude packaging. All of the bottles are made from recycled and recyclable plastics and printed with non-toxic inks. Somehow unlike other ethically sourced packaging, Nude products look elegant, classic and with their soft corners and smooth shapes they are a very tactile range. This product is marketed as a must have for those with normal to oily skin. The water has a delightful, soft and fresh scent with reflects all the natural ingredients packed in. Whether it is the rosa damascena flower water, citrus bitter orange flower water, willow bark extract, birch extract or natural fragrance, it really is refreshing yet subtle and leaves your skin feeling deeply cleansed
Ease of Use: The application is straight forward; apply using a cotton wool pad onto cleansed skin
Pros: It leaves skin feeling refreshed, looking smooth and healthy and removes any final traces of makeup or oil after another hectic, fun packed delight of a day (sigh). I had recently experienced a minor break out of minor eruptions – quite a stressful scenario I am sure we will all agree (wails). I thought this the perfect opportunity to try out the Clarifying Water and happily I have made a full recovery to my previously flawless state (Phew I hear you cry)
Cons: The only con is that using this product puts me in a slight quandary; as having cleansed, then clarified, it almost feels counterproductive to moisturise! I am actually far too terrifying that ‘age’ will catch up with me in the night that I have been following with my usual anti-aging regime…
Value for money:. These products are all great value and each product I have tried is extremely effective.
