Name of product: Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins – Night Health Bedtime Bath Oil

Price: £26

The blurb: Dr Andrew says “Deep sleep is a great healer – vital to our physical and emotional well-being and our skin’s healthy appearance. Unfortunately sleep deprivation is a major concern in our 24/7 world affecting one in four adults. This prelude to sleep is formulated with my clinically proven blend of Chamomile, Lavender and Mandarin essential oils. It relaxes mind, body and spirit to help ensure a restful night”

First impressions: The presentation of the item was lovely and the packaging has a simple organic look

Ease of Use: The packaging is simple and sleek and contained a boxed bottle. The instructions suggest adding a ‘splash’ into the bath and sinking in. How could that be any easier?

Pros: This product smells beautiful and the fragrance itself is enough to entice any hard working lady to unwind. The natural plant oils within the product leave your skin feeling smooth and hydrated and it is definitely a great addition to any daily routine. The product aims to relax body, mind and spirit and after twenty minutes relaxing in the bath I felt relaxed enough to attempt sleep without the usual glass of Chablis and over-analysis of the previous day’s events!

Cons: The only con that springs to mind is that the product does leave a slightly oily film on the bath after use so beware of slipping over following your previous evening unwinding session

Value for money: I found that you need to use a relatively small amount of the product to fragrance the bath, give your skin a treat and unwind therefore feel that this is very good value for money
