  Indeed she did get her Butterscotch pony! Did you know they are interactive? You should have seen the effect it had on the other drivers as we scooted back down the M4 today – it was moving about alarmingly on our roof rack!

  You are so right, darling dm. My own malechild received a very trendy wooden balance bike and has been asking me “where are the pedals” since xmas morning. He decided to get his own back this morning at Waitrose checkout; the lovely checkout lady (who looked like a regular church-goer, if you catch my drift) said “Hello young man” to which he replied “Sh*t is a naughty word”

  It’s not that they aren’t happy with what they get… It’s just that Boy #1 prefers Boy #2′s presents, and Boy #2 wants what Boy #1 got last year. Or whatever Boy #1 happens to be playing with at the time.

  Ha,Ha, abandon the children here with me, I can put them all in a pen made from Big Bales, just like my piggies. They’ll be warm and snug and won’t be able to climb out…also I won’t be able to hear them from the house!!

  My children were perfect on Christmas Day, I’m proud to say. They were very lovely.

  A Christmas baby! What joy – but what is this kg thing? (Just showing my age!). I shall assume that as the boy is bouncing then he is a ‘good’ weight…..

  As for the munchkins presents; Christmas is such a time for discontentment – can’t wait to get back to normal.

  Tickets and limo booked – am heading UK-wards very shortly. Is this a good idea?

  Oh Dulwich Mum this post did make me laugh! Sorry I haven’t visited in awhile – but have been madly busy. Am trying to keep my old blog up but have just started a new blog (http://childrenornot.blogspot.com to help motivate me write my self-help book – now I’ve got someone interested in the book proposal, I have to try to actually write the bloomin’ thing!
