Leader, Hero, God…

Granzilla turned up this evening uninvited, and announced that she will be staying for the week… As far as she is concerned, I have never been good enough for her darling boy. I feared that I would have an anxiety attack (clutches chest). I made a bid for temporary escape earlier tonight when I took my sweet cockapoo pup out for a walk. As I trotted down the steps, I felt the full grip of her immaculately manicured hand on my perfectly toned shoulder (gulp).
We were strolling purposefully up the road in silence, baby pooch scampering eagerly alongside, when the teenage daughter of a neighbour pounced:
“What sort of divine doglet have we here?” she enthused.
Before I could reply, the girl’s charmless mother poked her head out from behind their gate and barked “It is an unkempt poodle, clearly”.
“A cockapoo” I corrected.
“How incredibly new money to make up a breed for the mongrel,” the girls mother laughed (OHMYGOD)!
“New money is preferable to no money at all sweetie,” asserted Granzilla with all of the acerbic authority of Barroness Betty Boothroyd. “I see your sash windows are rotting, expensive business, shame!”
Don’t ever repeat this, but I thought she was top banana!

A whole week of Granzilla!!!! Although she turned up trumps this time it won’t be long before she starts to erode your wonderful relationship with James ……. I’m going to suggest syrup of figs in her coffee, plenty of haricot beans in other meals, all washed down with freshly pressed orange juice – that should keep her [and the staff] busy …….. I will not tolerate your karma being disrupted …….
