Name of product: Nude Deep Cleansing Mask
Price: £28 for 75 ml (free postage with orders over £50 directly from the Nude website)
The blurb: This face mask is specifically formulated for oily or congested skin. The mask uses kaolin clay to absorb excess oils and regulate sebum production, propolis extract to purify the complexion and organic buriti extract to gently exfoliate the skin. This deep cleansing mousse mask is ideal for oily or congested skin types to cleanse, exfoliate and smooth the complexion. Skin is left soft, comfortable and prepared for further treatments
First impressions: The presentation of this range of products is gorgeous and the shape and texture of this tub is tactile, somewhere between taupe and grown up light pink. The Nude range packaging is amongst the most appealing of beauty products available this season and is very attractive. The website is sleek and menus allow you to select for face, body and supplements. There is also a gift section crammed with beautiful gift sets for any beauty conscious lady with a conscience. Sustainability and ethical responsibility is big part of NUDE’s philosophy. So this is self-gifting you can feel overly smug about
Ease of Use: This could not be easier to use. The clay is a lovely consistency and once applied to the face remains on your face, no sliding off unexpectedly into your wine glass while you leave it for the recommended 10 minutes. The mask contains gentle exfoliating granules and is unscented and probiotic. After letting the mask work on those pores for 10 minutes it is easy to wash off with warm water. The mask suggests use twice a week to maintain a healthy oil free complexion
Pros: This product is intended for use by those with oily or congested skin. The mask purifies, exfoliates and smoothes whilst decongesting skin. On occasion I have slightly oily skin and the devastating yet infrequent break out of the dreaded spots. This mask did leave my skin feeling, smooth, refreshed and supple and was incredibly easy to use and remove
Cons: There are none that I can think of…I just love these products
Value for money: This product is very good value for money, it is beautifully packaged from a eco-aware company with a great grasp of beauty products that are specifically produced to activate cellular renewal and slow the ageing process…what more reason do you need to hop on the website and indulge
