My darling poppets have been feeding our pooch at the table (gasp)! I cannot allow this to continue. Christmas is coming, and our puppy is on course to become quite the fatty puff! My warnings fell on deaf ears until I found this Youtube clip which perfectly illustrates my point:
Don’t overfeed your dog, it really is incredibly unkind. The morsels that sweet munckins share with their pet are far better researved for feeding up the au pair…
That girl is far too slim for my tastes.

Notice the children are not daft enough to drop their food on the floor!

Darling Rosie,
That is because they are far better trained than the dog!

Funnily my children have never fed the dog on purpose and I’ve never encouraged it either. Maybe I under feed them and they are desperate to hold onto every scrap for themselves. ;0)
Don’t know what I’d do without a dog hoovering up all the baby’s accidental dropping of food though! have to invest in a broom I suppose. :0(

I like to take every opportunity to fatten up the au pair. I cannot bear to have any competition in my home, at all, ever (stomps foot)…

We have a cat who doesn’t eat the food up like a dog does…. more’s the pity as with 18month old twins it would certainly make clearing up the floor quicker!!

Silly au-pair doesn’t she know who you are?

This happens in our house too. All 4 of the dogs sneak into the kitchen and think it’s their birthday!

It’s not your tastes you need to worry about when it comes to au pairs!

What a woman after our own (discerning) taste. Just had to pop by to say how much we like your blog. Come and say hello to us, we feel sure you’re missing a decanter drainer or partridge jewellery tree in your Christmas stocking!
