This happens in our house too. All 4 of the dogs sneak into the kitchen and think it’s their birthday!

We have a cat who doesn’t eat the food up like a dog does…. more’s the pity as with 18month old twins it would certainly make clearing up the floor quicker!!

Funnily my children have never fed the dog on purpose and I’ve never encouraged it either. Maybe I under feed them and they are desperate to hold onto every scrap for themselves. ;0)
Don’t know what I’d do without a dog hoovering up all the baby’s accidental dropping of food though! have to invest in a broom I suppose. :0(
