Name of product: Perfectionist Wrinkle Lifting Serum by Estee Lauder, corrector for lines, wrinkles and age spots.

Price: £45.00 (for 30 mls)

The blurb: Winner of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Awards 2009: Best New Anti-Ageing Product (very me!), and winner of the Marie Clare Prix D’Excellence de la Beauté Awards 2009.

“Estée Lauder Research boldly advances our most comprehensive anti-wrinkle treatment ever to prove just how far a skincare formula can go. The result? Deep, prominent wrinkles are reduced in appearance.

Advanced with Wrinkle Lift Restructuring Peptides™ skin reclaims a remarkably smoother, younger, more lineless complexion. This silky Corrector for Lines/Wrinkles is our most effective wrinkle fighting formula ever. And we can prove it.

Instantly the length, depth and number of lines and wrinkles look reduced up to 36%. Wrinkles are filled in and visibly immobilised with a flexible elastomer. Skin looks brighter, fresher, more lineless. Our exclusive Wrinkle Lift Restructuring Peptides™ work within skin’s deepest surface layers to begin redensifying its appearance.

In just 4 weeks, deep wrinkles look lifted away. The visible, wrinkle exaggerating effects of the day are eliminated. See a 61% reduction in the look of serious lines and winkles. Let your wrinkle lift begin.” I must admit, this product makes some pretty serious promises!

First impressions: Sumptuous, purple-hazed bottle, very appealing packaging.

Ease of Use: Pump action, very easy to use and glides on. Smells good and leaves skin silky smooth. Apply each morning before moisturiser.

Pros: I think I am…I’m sure I am looking younger and my skin is looking smoother since I’ve been using this wrinkle serum or is it just that I’ve recovered from the Norovirus and stopped looking grey and wretched! Whichever is the truth, I shall continue using this to see if it really can get rid of my one tiny age spotlet…

Cons: No, I genuinely cannot find one!

Value for money: Value for Money: What price would you not pay to hold back time?

Dulwichmum verdict: ★★★★☆
