The blurb: “L’ Oreal Paris Resist & Shine Titanium Nail Varnish contains an innovative new formula with reinforced protection, offering up to seven-days of hold. These varnishes are enriched with silkprotect, formshock-resistance and shine protection. Resist and Shine Titanium is enriched with Ceramide R. The formula reinforces, protects and smoothes the surface of the nail. Resist and Shine is suitable for frequent use. Nail varnish as practical as pretty!”

First impressions: The bottles are a lovely curved shape, easy to hold and pretty. The range of colours I am reviewing are perfect for the forthcoming Autumn and consist of deep purples, blues, pink and reds. The gold cap has a easy grip applicator brush beneath it and therefore the bottles look good and the product is easy to apply. Win-win for the new style bottles

Ease of Use: The nail varnish itself is easy to apply. The easy grip applicator cap has a medium width brush that allows coverage of the nail in three easy strokes. The nail varnish is a good consistency and glides on evenly. The titanium range appear to be relatively quick drying varnishes and are touch dry in approximately five minutes

Pros: These varnishes come in a great range of colours and produce good even coverage with one coat for darker colours and two for lighter colours. They dry quickly and last well. This range prides itself on lasting up to seven days and I have found that the nails certainly do last snag free for at least three to four days without needing any touch ups

Cons: The main con that I have found is that with some of the range I have found a slight bubbling effect once applied. This may be that I do not allow enough drying time or that the varnish is reacting to the base coat I apply. It is not obvious unless you examine the nails really closely and the nails do look good but it is the only criticism I have of this range

Value for money:. As with other L’Oreal products I feel that these are great value for money. The colours are lovely and there is a shade for every occasion

Dulwichmum verdict: ★★★☆☆ to the slight bubbling on the nail although for colour and application I would suggest a 4/5

Stockists: Available to view range at l’oreal-paris.co.uk and to buy at all good high street stores
