• A 64% improvement when left on hair overnight”

First impressions: I have heard great things about this product, and I can’t wait to try it! The product itself looks rather “ethnic” and natural in a brown recycled paper looking box. The treatment smells amazing and is the consistency of shoe polish, or lard. It quickly melts to a rich oil when warmed up in the hands. It comes with a small brown wooden wide toothed comb. It is all very different and very exciting!

Ease of Use: Apply to dry hair for best results. Scoop ½ teaspoon into the palm of your hand; warm by rubbing between your hands until it becomes an oil. Distribute from scalp to hair ends until hair is fully saturated. Massage 1-2 minutes to stimulate hair follicles and scalp while allowing oil to penetrate. Comb hair thoroughly to ensure all strands are completely saturated; leave for 20 minutes or longer

Tip: For very dry or dehydrated hair, apply gentle heat from a hairdryer for 5 minutes and leave Ojon® in overnight by placing a towel over your pillowcase or by wearing a shower cap over your hair. I really enjoyed warming this lovely product up between my hands and massaging it into my scalp and hair, it smells amazing and the whole process really feels quite therapeutic and relaxing.

Pros: I must admit that my hair and scalp feel incredible after using the treatment. My hair feels much stronger – not in a coarse way, it feels more resilient if that makes sense. I have my hair hi-lighted and I have just returned from a sunshine holiday, so my hair was feeling a little brittle.

The treatment rinsed away completely with one shampoo (which I found very suprising as it is actually rather oily) and following styling as normal, my blow dry lasted for 3 full days without any care at all – apart from brushing – clearly! Without blow drying and straightening, my hair is actually very coarse and wirey (shhh), and I normally need to use a ceramic straightener every day. My mane is not oily at all and it doesn’t seem to have retained any trace of the product but it smells incredible! My hair is certainly much more manageable.

Cons: None at all

Value for money:. This product is not cheap, but it is a complete must have. You simply HAVE to try this. No really, I insist (stomps foot)

Dulwichmum verdict: ★★★★★
