Royal Engagement – the true story…

My mother, Brenda, really should be careful of the things she says to the poppets. They are so incredibly innocent! I just heard Max telling his chum Ravi that Prince William had to get married next Summer and Grandma Brenda had told him the true story:

“Apparently William will be as bald as an egg within 18 months as his hair is falling out like leaves from the Autumn trees” he said wistfully. “This happens when boys don’t eat the crusts from their sandwiches. Prince William will look frightful on the tea towels, stamps and commemorative mugs with no hair”…

OHMYGOD!

Mother will say anything to get that boy to clean his plate…

  She used to tell me that if I didn’t eat my crusts that my teeth would go black…(wails)

  I tend to find “if yo eat your sandwich you can have a chocolate” is just as effective….but I’m not Catholic

  My husband goes by the nickname “Slim Curly.” He clearly didn’t eat his sandwiches. But found something he liked in that fridge.
