The blurb: This new scent is a departure for Estee Lauder, who defines it as “A modern new definition of sensuality. Confident and elegant. A rich core of Molten Woods and Amber, surrounded by atmospheric florals, warmed by a hint of Pepper and a touch of Honey.” The product itself is a spray on oil, “A sheer, skin-softening dry oil spray. Absorbs instantly with the warmth of your skin to leave it feeling ultra-soft, moisturised and lightly scented with Estée Lauder Sensuous. Spray on bare arms, legs, back, décolletage, wherever you want a radiant, polished glow.”

First impressions: The wrapping and bottle are luxurious and evocative of the fragrance, as one would expect from this premium brand. I must admit that I am drawn to the description of this perfume, as I like to wear a slightly more intense scent in the Winter. The smell is elegant, sensual and rich, perfect for Winter. The idea of a spray body oil for the décolletage and arms sounds super sensual and useful as it is moisturising. I enjoyed wearing Beautiful, so very much, a few years ago when it was launched. People would ask what my scent was and I would answer “It’s Beautiful”. I know I will have just as much fun with the name of this scent…

Ease of Use: The oil sprays on lightly and leaves a delicate sheen on the skin. The oil is an interesting consistency as it is actually absorbed quite quickly and does not remain “damp”. It was safe to wear silk next to my skin when wearing it on and yet it was satisfyingly moisturising. It does not damage any of my clothes.

Pros: I am acutely aware that as woman of almost …forty, moisturising my décolletage is a top priority! I always purchase the perfumed moisturiser of whatever scent I am using, but a spray oil is a new and more satisfying alternative!

Cons: I can’t think of one! This is a fabulous product.
