First impressions: The lovely slim chocolate coloured box, tied up with ribbon, was handed to me on one of most stressful days this year and I was so grateful! Inside the box came a cream coloured silk pillowcase. It is hypoallergenic and unlike faux silk- feels soft and lovely when resting my weary head on it

Ease of Use: Simple, fitted one of the standard sized, Hungarian goose down Harrods pillows on my bed

Pros: Felt luxurious to lie on and is particularly beneficial for those of us who are prone to fluffy hair in the mornings, keeping my tresses smooth

Cons: I have used it for two weeks and cannot be totally convinced that it is purely the silky feel that has enhanced my sleep… but something has!

Value for money: I am still using it and I will be taking it on holidays with me in the hope of looking younger with well tamed hair.

Dulwichmum verdict:

This is a great quality silk pillowcase; however, I am not sure it will do “what it says on the tin.” It feels lovely on against the skin and would make a great Christmas present with the matching silk eye shades, I am sure! A super luxury gift for someone who requires a little pampering, I am just not convinced yet about the anti-ageing properties
