Am I the only one who doesn’t give a rat’s corpse that we are not going to host The World Cup? I thought that we were supposed to be living in an age of austerity (lovingly strokes cashmere Travelwrap).

My father always said that if you hated someone, really loathed them, the best thing to do was to give them a share in a racehorse…

He said that keeping the animal, training it, feeding it, housing it,transporting it, paying the medical bills, could just about drain anyone’s bank account (admires manicure and then taps fingers on desk).

My darling daddy also said that if one couldn’t afford a share in a racehorse for the foe in question, one should purchase them a greyhound. Engage them in a sport where they will spend lots of cash and find it impossible to win a penny back.

Let the Russians have the damn World Cup. Hell, when they are finished with it, lets bankrupt the French too!

I think I may be pre-menstrual…
