Star Wars Remote Controlled Room Light – Uncle Milton

Name of product: Star Wars Remote Controlled Room Light by Uncle Milton from Tup Tup Toys
I have to say that I find the name of the company rather creepy (or is that just me?)!
Please note: My perfect boy Max has written this review all by himself (wipes tear from eye)
Price: £27.99
The blurb: “Young Padawans can construct their own Jedi Lightsaber and mount their creation as a room light on the wall! Eight colour effects let kids personalise their Lightsaber and a remote control turns the light on and off. During construction, kids learn about the electronics that make the Lightsaber work”
First impressions: I was speechless when I received this! This Lightsaber looks just like the real thing and with all of the different colours that you can chose, it will look terrific on my bedroom wall
Ease of Use: I helped Daddy to put it together, it didn’t take too long at all, and he said that it was not tricky at all to hang it on my bedroom wall. When I am at one end of my bed I can just press a button (on the remote) and it lights up the room!!! I think it is really cool
Pros: It has a remote control. I think that makes it pretty cool. I love the sound effects too, and all of the different colours that you can chose
Cons: The Lightsaber doesn’t come with batteries (5 x AAA batteries and that is really expensive!). When you wake up in the morning, you must first press a button (on the lightsaber itself) to make the remote control work, which is a bit of a pain. Daddy needed some special tools to open the compartment and put in the batteries, and he thought that a special key could have been provided instead of him having to hunt high and low for a tiny Philips screw driver. The Lightsaber makes a special sound effect type noise every time I use the remote control and that wakes up my dog. When the dog barks, it makes my mummy cross. I hope that the dog gets used to the noise!
Value for money: This is a must have for all Star Wars fans, but it is a little expensive as it doesn’t come with batteries
