First impressions: This website is well designed and super easy to navigate. It is simplicity itself to find the perfect toy for any occasion with clearly laid out categories, “search by age” and “search by brand” options. The brands carried by this site are favourites; reliable and great quality, including Uncle Milton and Plan Toys. I must admit that I am also impressed by their stated commitment to customer service!
Ease of Use: I easily located a Wild Science Beauty Salon kit for my baby girl and having placed the order, it arrived two days later!
Pros: As a busy working mother, I don’t have the time or the emotional energy to trip around Hamley’s on my valuable time off. This site is a god send!
Cons: Actually, I can’t think of any negatives regarding this site or the products it sells… Freya never intended to make beauty products with this kit – YIKES! She has been wearing the goggles all week and has turned our luxurious home into a crime scene from one of those vile American TV shows! She has never watched these disturbing adult shows with me, so I have fired the aupair, naturally! I am delighted that she is interested in science and how things work, but I draw the line at having my hair plucked out when I return from work in the evening so that she can “analyse” it!
Value for money: Toys are competitively priced, and when you consider the cost of a travel card or petrol to get to the shops, along with the time you save, it is actually a most economical way to shop! I shall be back on this site in November, preparing for Christmas – who needs the crush?
