Name of product: VitaZing Moisturizer – Origins, Energy-boosting moisturiser with Mangosteen and SPF 15

Price: £25 for 50 mls

The blurb: “92% saw more radiant skin This multi-tasking moisturizer handles the vital jobs of hydrating, energizing and protecting to maintain skin’s momentum all day. Gives skin the refreshing zing of antioxidant-rich Mangosteen. And adds a healthy hit of radiance that mimics the glow you get from a week’s vacation. All in 10 seconds max. Slip it on first thing tomorrow – you’ll look like you eat right, sleep tight & don’t have a worry in sight”

First impressions: : The box had a recycled feel to it and looked rather like a trendy olive oil pack. Not actually very inspiring, but the promise of boosting my complexion, particular as winter is upon us and with that comes dry lack-lustre skin, was enough to make me ignore the packaging and eagerly anticipate the awesome results

Ease of Use: A regular flip-top squeezy tube of oatmeal coloured cream. I’m not a regular user of this brand and the colour made me rather hesitant. I found it a little heavy and it took some time to absorb into the skin which was a little off-putting. the SPF 15 is a great addition to a day cream, we should wear SPF all the time you know, to preserve our stunning good looks!

Pros: Easy to pop in your handbag if you touch up during the day. Despite my reservations regarding absorbency this cream was a real treat. It gave my complexion a seriously needed boost yet not like a suntan just a really healthy glow. Perfect for this time of year

Cons: Not a cream for all year round and a little greasy – but perhaps that is because of the sun screen?

Value for money:. Good value for money as it energised and boosted the radiance of my skin!

Dulwichmum verdict: ★★★★☆
