Wardrobe malfunction
Posted by dulwichmum on Wed 20 January 2010
I am currently preparing for a weekend jolly avec chum Froginthefield at The Grove. We are attending a Best of Life Retreat, which we arranged before Christmas. We usually find January and February such a drag… I have commenced a healthy regime for the New Year. A couple of sessions with Life Coach Nina Grunfeld should keep me on a positive track. I will be bikini perfect by the end of March; I shall leave the au pair huddling beneath her beach towel in shame!
What should I pack to wear this weekend? I know, it seems a little obvious, Friday to Sunday casual wear usually means three pairs of white jeans. Clearly, I must pack my Travelwrap, cashmere lounge socks and swim suit, but should I bring heels, or pretend that I actually take casual seriously? It is just that I have genuine difficulty wearing flat shoes; it is a medical condition, something to do with my tendons…
There are so many potential wardrobe malfunctions that a girl could suffer.
But not so many as bad as this one (smirk).
This girl’s cheeks are probably still glowing with embarrassment…

Sweet 70steen,
I know what you are saying, but it is such an individual look here in Dulwich. Anyhow, I love to keep the housekeeper busy with the laundry. She spends far too much time driving about in my BMW X6.
70steen said,
darling if it frees up the X6 then white is de la hauteur de la mode

The camera crew were incredibly kind to her.
I shall be donning black, sweetie, so much more chic. Goodness if you wear white stilletos I’ll think Shirl has lent you her shoes!

No! Oh my goodness. Maybe you could do something similar to the Aupair? Could lead to her needing to wear baggy clothes to hide her figure..
Oh and if you are doing the white jeans you really do need heals.
Pippa said,
I apologise for my spelling…

Please reassure me that you didn’t wear the wrong pants. Far more serious than the wrong trousers, in my experience. And tee hee – I take it you didn’t take the photograph at The Grove?
